Phone Issues, Please Help!

Hi all.

Have an HTC One M8 (posted on that forum but not getting a lot of help). Phone worked well for about a month and then started losing functionality with certain apps that stream content (Pandora, YouTube, Stitched, NPR, you name it). Nothing works. On all programs I normally get an error stating connectivity issues to server, please try again. I've tried all the tips I could find online , including:

- Clearing caches
- restarting
- I don't have adblocker
- uninstall/reinstall
- trying Wi-Fi vs. 4g
- making sure WiFi proxy was set to "none" instead of manual
- ran clean sweeper

Nothing works and I'll eventually offload this awesome phone if I can't figure it out. This problem seems WIDESPREAD. Just google "connectivity to server lost touch to retry" to see all the android users struggling with this.

Please help!

Do you have internet connectivity at all - can you browse the web, email, etc - on WiFi, 4G, 3G? Or is this a streaming-only problem? Have you exceeded your data allowance? If so you may be cut off or your speed is throttled.

I can browse no problem. I almost always use WiFi, but occasionally 3G and 4G. Email works, Chrome, Netflix (surprisingly) and any games.

I haven't been throttled. I check my data usage pretty regularly and I'm NEVER close to the limits. Seems to be directly related to the sync with apps that require a stream of content.
