Hi,

When I open my phone, it says very often in a black dialog box 'logging in'. I thought it had do to with certain apps, but even without opening those apps, it keeps showing the dialog.
The strange thing, it happens most of the times, but sometimes it stays away for a couple of hours.

Does anyone know what this could cause?

Android 8, up to date 7th July 2018. Restarted phone multiple times.
Apps are up to date as well.

I'll try to make a screenshot if it happens.

If all it says is "logging in", it's going to be tough to identify which app is doing that. It sounds to me like you have either a sync issue or you have an app that requires a login to sync, like maybe a news service or message service like Whatsapp or instagram?

I guess you could always turn off wi-fi and mobile data and see what fails.

Thanks, I will try that first, and will let you know the outcome.

I got that on my S8 before and it was due to when I changed my password online to any email app had on the device and it required a login in the taskbar. But try ticking the dialog box or long pressing it and it should take you directly to the app that need that login.
