Help phone keeps restarting when low battery

Hi my phone keeps restarting when it has a low battery. It usually does around 10% or 20% or even higher sometimes. It boots up onto loading screen then just boots up again then just goes blank. Can anyone help me as this is doing my head in. Does it need a new battery as i am on holiday at the moment

Classic symptoms of a failing battery, if it is over a year old I would change it anyway. Phil

Try and get a genuine one if you can, some of the cheap ones on eBay are crap, my last one was a non original but came highly recommended and I have to admit it is a great battery. Phil

The battery is cheap and removable, just replace it every 2 years.

I have the Zerolemon 8500mAh extended battery on my S5. It makes the phone a lot thicker. But it greatly increases battery life. I now charge the phone every 3 days instead of every night. But it's rather difficult to find.
