Help Phone keeps vibrating

Since the upgrade to nougat 7 my phone constantly vibrates every couple of minutes but there are no notifications. How to I stop this as it becoming more than a nuisance

Have you tried turning your phone off and back on again? My s8 has bugged out a couple of times after a message and kept giving me the notification sounds without there being a notification there. A reboot fixed that. If that doesn't work I'd try clearing cache in recovery mode.

I finally discovered in the Accessibility settings that you can switch notification reminders off and that seems to have fixed the problem. I suspect the reason that there were never any new notifications is that it was constantly reminding me about things I hadn't yet looked at
