DamageTime
Lurker
Long story short, I was playing a game on an unrooted proclaim when it crashed and rebooted. Looked OK and battery was almost full, so I put it away for the night. The next day the phones battery was completely drained. Charged it, tried to call, got the mobile network is unavailable errors.
I seem to be one of the unlucky few with the "stuck in airplane mode" problem. No longer have BaseBand, IMEI, phone number, PRL version, MIN, etc. Hard to believe that these critical settings would be affected by playing a game - but, apparentlly, they aren't as secure as I once thought.
The phone may be damaged beyond repair. But, my feeling is that any problem caused by software should be fixable.
I have since rooted my phone and am looking for a little help trying to sort out exactly which files I am missing. Would someone with a rooted proclaim (that works) please post:
1. A recursive directory listing of their /EFS folder
2. A list of mounts
