Hi,
I play the drums and typically I record with my phone whenever I want to show something off. I don't have any microphones that are better for this, so I just use my phone. Since the drums are really loud and the phone microphones wash out easily, I put tape over both microphones when recording.
Problem is, now doing this makes the audio it picks up extremely distorted. Usually when I record with tape over the speakers, it sounds just fine but for some reason yesterday, it sounds incredibly distorted.
Here are videos explaining what I mean:
Video 1 - Not Distorted:
Video 2: Distorted:
Anyone know what I could do or what changed? Both videos were recorded a day after each other, so nothing changed software wise. Whenever I take my phone out the room and record outside of the room, it sounds perfectly fine.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
