Phone not automatically connecting to home wifi

My S7 is not automatically connecting to my home wifi after I return home. My previous Samsung phones did this without any problems.

Try turning Off the router, wait 5 min, turn it back on, then sync Setup between your router and new device.

I've had lollipop for a few months but only started happening a few days ago. I did a fresh install which did nothing. The only way I can get it to connect is by restarting the router's wifi.
