phone not showing contact name

I am using Nokia G10 with android 12.

I save the number in contacts.
Send SMS to that number, but phone number does not change to
a name that I saved to contacts. Still, only the number is shown in
Phone and Messages. Even the number is saved in Contacts as
some name. I would expect the name to be visible in Phone and
messages also.
What can be the issue?
I also call the number from SMS, so it is definitely the same number.
This is the issue only with some numbers, they do not get
recognized, not all.

Can you try clearing the app data or restarting your phone. If this doesn’t work, check if there’s any software update and lastly, consider doing a phone reset.
