phone rebooted, now no phone

My Eris rebooted randomly (as it often likes to do).... I have no phone signal and cannot make calls. When ever I hit the 'phone' button, I get a message that says "The process android.process, acore has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again". Any clues?? I have not updated it if that helps...

Dont think so, not until they figure out the issues with the upgrade.
When I go to the phone settings, I get "The process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." "Force close".

This includes when I try to go almost anywhere on the phone. I cant turn on wi-fi, Mobile, GPS etc.
Any real ideas?

Ive already tried to roob the phone a few times...

Ok, so I had to wipe everything out and start over. Sucks!!
