Help Phone Says Storage Is Low, But It Isn't

I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy Note 3,and it worked fine a first. I have a 16 GB SD card and 32 GB of internal memory.
I can't download anything.
I keep getting the notification of low storage space, and when I launch it, I'm taken to my storage menu. And it clearly shows I have 30 GB free. I have tried wiping the cache, factory reset, and even replacing my SD card. I'm new to this website, so I don't know how to attach pictures, but I have screenshots also.

How much internal storage is really free, even though it states 32GB total, and you say showing "30 GB free" internal, but nothing will download and it's reporting storage is low, and you've already tried factory resets, wiping data, etc. Hmmmm....given that, could be a possibility you have a counterfeit Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Similar issues have been reported before with knock-off Samsungs, and I've seen them myself.

But I suggest you try Storage Truth, and report back what it tells you.

Because fakes are often fixed to lie about storage. and it will give you an accurate idea of what's going on anyway.

Other thing I suggest you do is go into settings, device information and report back what the "kernel version" is. If it states "CST" and not "KST" for the build date and time, that's a Chinese fake. Where did the Note 3 come from, did you buy it new or used?

BTW removable SD storage may not help for downloads, unless specifically saving to SD, which many apps don't do.

There is clearly something wrong. Part of the storage is used for system software, and Samsung have some of the biggest software suites going. A "16GB" Note 3 has about 11GB available to the user out of the box, so there is no way a 32GB one has 30GB available.

I'm sorry, but something doesn't add up.

Yeah, I've seen some Samsung displays where they'll total the available storage, put free internal and free sd card together. No idea why they add to the confusion that way. Bet that's what this is.

OP, screen shots will help, check out "Upload File" under the text entry box for posting.
