Help Phone Slows Down When Charging

When i plug the cable in "micro usb" slot phone slows down. Like it freezes so much (it happens about 2-3 minutes) and if i google it i can't find anything useful. Anyone knows what to do ?

But i am using the og charger that came with the phone inside the box

A friend told me that he had a problem with the charger and he put it in the fridge for 1 hour or so than problem was solved. If i do this would it solve the issue ?

No...in fact it could damage your Smartphone afterwards.
The reason for your problem could be anything from a faulty charger to a faulty circuit board or transformer of the place where you're charging... I.e. abnormally high voltage input.
