Hello all,
I recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket off of eBay (I have a month-to-month contract plan and cannot afford full-priced phones). Model number is SGH-i727. It is an AT&T phone, but I have Ultra Mobile as a carrier, which uses T-Mobile's network. Here's what happens:
Occasionally and randomly, I will try to make a call, and the phone will show the dialing screen; however, it will not ring. The call will either drop, or the phone will switch to an in-call screen (as if the other person had picked up or the call had gone to their voicemail). But no one-person or voicemail-is on the other line. There's just silence. This will continue unless I reset the phone. I also randomly lose service (I'll get the "no smoking" symbol) or internet. I do not know if these are phone issues (the phone has been dropped twice in the few days I was waiting on a case) or a carrier issue, as I know T-Mobile does not have the best network reputation. But I'm in northeast Ohio and should have good coverage, according to Ultra Mobile's coverage map.
Any suggestions? Thank you.
