I have an HTC Hero.
Is there a way to set different sounds. 1 for messages, 1 for e-mail, 1 for weather alerts Etc. I have caller ID rings but all my notifications are the same sound. My Blackberry did this. To think my HERO could not would be unthinkable.
I know my htc magic can do this.
1. for my e-mail i set my notification sounds under setttings
2. for my text messages i open menu when in the text message app and go to settings and change there.
3. my alarms sounds is set under alarms.
