Hi, welcome to Android Forums, sorry it's taken so long to get to you.

The MicroSD card and the internal memory of your device are two seperate things. Unfortunately, adding a bigger microSD card does not automatically fix memory issues.

There are some steps you can take to manage your memory.

First, delete any applications that you don't need. Note: some applications cannot be removed by normal means.
Second, move any media files like pictures and video to your MicroSD card. An app like ES File Explorer and File Manager can help you do that.
Third, clear your cache files an app like Clean Master will help out with that.

If all else fails... the final option and last resort is to root your device. Many carriers and phone manufacturers add unnecessary applications called bloatware onto your device. The only way to remove bloatware is through a process called rooting.

There are certain risks and rewards involved in rooting, for example, it will void your warantee. But it will allow you to remove unwanted applications.
