Help Phone Stuck on Motorola Logo. Urgent!

My moto g second gen got stuck on the startup motorola logo. I haven't modified it in any way. It turned off mid call and when I put it on charge it got stuck on that screen.
Side info- The phone had been overheating the past couple of days and the phones battery indicator kept getting stuck on the same number.
Reposting this because no one answered my last one. Please I really need advice on how to fix it.​

Something has fried I suspect. I would try a factory reset, a new battery and if those dont work it probably needs to go to a repair shop

Well, I did a battery drain and now is on charge. Fingers crossed

Thanks for the reply. I went to the shop and they said that there are just too many problems to fix. It will be repaired.
