Help Phone Stuck on "Samsung" Screen

My Galaxy GT-S5839i is stuck on the "Samsung" screen. I wonder if there is a tutorial which will take me through the process of rectifying the problem
Any Help will be appreciated

Yes it is a Galaxy ace. I have tried removing the battery and I have made sure the battery is fully charged.
When I press the on button I get the Galaxy ace screen then the Samsung screen and thats it, it stays like that!!
I know how to get to download mode but I would need the software and the how
I live in Hope!!!

Thanks I have tried this but no luck, I may be doing something wrong as the instructions ask to put the files onto Odin at
AP/PDA Now AP I can see but what does PDA stand for??
Any ideas
