Help Phone stuck "searching for service" after daughter board/ charger port replacement.

Riley Jones

Lurker
I recently replaced the daughter board in my S7. And by design, I had to replace the screen as well. I made sure i got the correct board for my phone SM-G930V and it fit perfectly.

Everything in the phone work before I glued the back cover on. It worked great for a few days but I let it die one day and after I turned it back on, it had no service. I get the "Searching for service message" and the crossed circle icon. I've tried rebooting and clearing cache, but to no avail.

I'm fairly certain I may have knicked something putting back together, but if I had, why did it work until it had to reboot? I'm fairly technologically versed but not so much when it comes to the Android OS.

I will gladly post any info required upon request to help.
