phone to sd card app

Is there an app that will allow you to move any (or almost any) from phone to sd card? I'm running Froyo and I can move some apps but would like to free up as mush space on my phone as possible. A free app would be nice but I'll pay if I have to.

What phone do you have?
Is your phone rooted?
Do you have CM mod?
Some apps cant be moved to SD because they werent meant to be.
Even if you manage to move Apps to SD with clever scripting they wont work.
CM Roms have a custom app2sd which allows to increase space on SD.
