Phone turns off suddenly

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. Sometimes when I have my phone in my pocket or on my belt clip, my phone turns off and won't turn on again. Has anyone had this happen and if so, what causes it and what can I do to prevent it?

Any help would be appreciated.

I can't think of any reason this would happen by accident as the power button needs to be held down for a few seconds and then the screen actually touched to shut the phone off.

I would be thinking of returning the phone for replacement/repair.

sounds like a bad phone or bad battery. you may also be a victim of 'black scrren of death'. if you are under warranty, i would get another one or they may attempt to fix yours.

Yea the problem is that it won't turn on again and I have to take out the battery to restart it. I don't really want to send it back because this is my third EVE so it's kind of annoying.
