Help phone unable to connect to any network

problem - unable to connect to network or recognise sim


this phone was working fine until Vodafone messed up my credit. I was on line to them two days ago and they restored my credit and compensated me for the trouble.. or so my account suggests.
They asked me to wait an dhour then turn off my phone and restart it. I did this. Now there iws a red "x" on the notification icons as in this image

and the phone no longer connects to any network. its time and date have been reset. the APNs have been deleted and I cannot add them.

What has happened to this phone
 
You may be right.. can they have affect the phone in some way? this seems to have happened a the time they were onlione with me. it now wont connect to any network! I suppose will have to again go through the torment of trying to contact Vodafone.
 
Well, the simplest answer would probably they messed up your SIM on their network too. You can probably just drop by their office/shop and say your SIM doesn't work anymore. I had a similar problem, when my SIM just stopped working, but at that point it was already 2 years old.
