Help Phone unresponsive, freezing.

About two months ago I started experiencing some issues with the phone.

1. Keyboard is unresponsive or glitches , can't text for example. If I press the t key the phone registers it as g in the message screen.

2. Phone suddenly freezes and it gets really hot.


I did go through a process of rooting and unrooting so maybe I did something wrong there.
 
So I had a quick thought the other day. This is a flashed phone, its currently with boost mobile. Now my question is, what if updating the phone with sprints(fl24,GB27) updates caused these issues?

Can these updates function with a former Sprint phone that is now flashed with Boostmobile?

Honestly I might have to downgrade and go with an ics build. I just want to know if the sprint builds are the culprits


Whats the best way to downgrade?
