Phone Vibrates As I Pick It Up?

Yep, just like the title says!

This happens ONLY when I have a Text Message Notification. Screen is off, I'll reach for my phone and before I press the power button to turn the screen on it vibrates! lol Haven't found any way to turn it off, not that it's bothering me but I was wonder if this happens to anyone else?

It's the way that you have it set up. If you go to settings and select Motion and Gestures, you'll see Smart Alert. If it's on, the phone will vibrate when you pick it up if you have any texts or missed calls.

A setting introduced in the s3 I believe. follow the steps Andre12dbsi provided and you'll be able to turn it off

I thought my phone was messed up too when I first got it, lol. Then I noticed it only happened when I had a text message unread. Its a cool feature.

It's a little different in the S6 now: Settings > Advanced features > Smart alert.
