Help Phone was stolen. Where might my photos be on the cloud?

My phone was stolen on a trip to Haiti and the Dominican Republic. someone suggested that my photos might be backed up automatically on the cloud somewhere.

can anyone tell me where I might find the photos if they were backed up? I don't have another phone yet so I only have access to a desktop computer.

Try looking on Google Photos first of all, unless you were using something else you setup, like Dropbox.

i dindn't set anything up... my only chance is if there was something set up as default. i checked google photos and there's nothing there more recent than a year ago

Not looking good, then... if you didn't specifically set up cloud backup, there likely isn't one.

99.99% sure, you lost them all.

1st thing on the next phone you get.

• Set up Google Photos at a minimum...
• Set up Dropbox as an easy way to share things to special folders... I don't keep much here, but I use it for special items I need access to anywhere/now!
