Help Phone will not install apps?

Have you tried to download any other apps at all?

I would suggest trying one or two different apps and see if they do the same thing.

Restart the phone if you haven't.

Did you update the phone with your computer and install the newer version of Android on the phone?

One thing you could try is to open the Settings menu and go to Applications and click under Manage Applications, go under All and select Market (for the Android Market) and then Clear Cache and Clear Data and Force stop....back out of all that and try to download apps again.

If the problem persists then go right back under Manage Applications and click under Market again, and then clear and close the same stuff and then click Uninstall Updates, this will uninstall any failed updates the Market may have done to itself.

I have tried to download Skype, which also did not work.
I then tried to download any Game that showed up first (Which was Angry Birds), it also did not work.

I have not updated my phone as of yet.
I was going to try and update to the newest Android if all else failed.
I have cleared my Cache, and am trying again now :)
Thank you for your help :D

So the list of games and apps in the Market show up? And when you click on them to download them, does it even give you the option to install?

Does it bring you to the following screen where it asks you to accept?

At what step does it get to?

It shows me everything on the market, and gives me the option to install.
It then shows it downloading in the notification bar.
I've noticed most downloads always stay on "Paused" or just fail.
It never gets to actually install :(

Have you updated the phone on your computer yet?

Have you tried to uninstall all Market updates?

Are you using Wifi or 3g/data to download?

If you open Market, and click on the the left button on the phone...the option/select button....and chose accounts, it does show her gmail email account?

I did, but it didn't work :(

I use my Data to download.

When I open Market, there is no option to show "Accounts", but I do have my mobile synced with my Gmail. I've already been receiving emails on it too.

I'm not sure if this is the problem, but when I went into Install, all these things showed up in orange, as if the settings weren't right for install.
If that is the case, I'm not sure how to change these:
Storage, Modify/Delete SD card contents
Network Communication, full internet access
Phone calls, read phone state and indentity
System tools, prevent phone from sleeping.

That stuff is ok.

Every app will give you a warning letting you know what it might use.

I would highly suggest using Wifi to download as a test (that might help you prove that the problem might be with the MMS settings)

Go to an internet cafe or somewhere that has wireless internet and try and download anything and see if it makes a difference.

Is it only over 3g where you can't get apps from the market?
