Help phone will not turn on

i believe the problem started while installing a custom recovery. i was using SWupgrade and while in the middle of the download my power went off. the phone will not turn on or does not indicate charging when the charger is plugged in. when i first plug the charger up, within about 1 minute gives a long vibrate and nothing else. i cannot turn the phone on at all, so there is no booting into recovery or anything else. pleassee help me
