On my Moto Z2 Play I have a Pin set up on my phone. Occasionally it will take 2-3 try to get into my device. Meaning the pin is correct, but my phone will say the pin is wrong 2 or 3 times until it unlocks has anyone ever had this happen to them?
When you enter your PIN do you pay close attention that the correct numbers are being entered? I've had a few phones where the screen touch calibration was just off enough that if you touched slightly off it registered the wrong number/letter.
