Does anyone else have a problem with their S10 not staying in the app they are using? My phone keeps bouncing back to the opening home page.

Any particular app, or all apps? Because if it's one particular app then that sounds like an app crash. If it's all apps are you certain you aren't accidentally triggering the "home" gesture?
