phone has been dead for 3 days and will not charge what can i do to fix that ?

Have you tried a different charger?
It could be your battery, or your charge port, and it could be something else.
I would start with the charger and if that doesn't work try a new battery. After that you may want to take your phone back to you carrier cause you may need a repair or a new phone.
