Help phone wont load

I have a LG optimist and i got the 'download in progress do not unplug cable{message}" My phone is working fine now but my apps keep forcing close,its almost like my phone wont read the SD card or load everything in general
 
I'm presuming you just took a system update? If yes, it's recommended, but not mandatory to factory reset after any majro OS update. Back everything up with helium backup before hand though

I've never heard of the LG Optimist, but I'm guessing it's one of the LG Optimus handsets? Any idea which one?
