Help Phone won't play audio files on Micro SD Card

L1nkOne

Lurker
So i bought a 128gb Micro SD Card for my phone (HTC Desire 626) so i can store all my music there (Couple Thousand Songs). I've gotten most of them to work, but for some reason, certain songs are unable to be read. A message pops up reading "Unable to play this type of audio file", even though most of the audio files on my phone are the same (mostly .m4a or .mp3). I've made sure the permissions on the songs are open, and that inheritance is enabled. The weird part about it is when i put the music in directly into the phones memory, it has no problem reading the music. This is also being done through the stock "Music" app on the phone (have not tried third party music apps, will do though). Any ideas how to fix this problem? - Thanks

Kind of seems like you may have either corrupted music files or fake SD card. Some certain music players are also extremely finnicky and protest when there's a slight issue with a file
