Phone won't take pictures

cpmonroe99

Lurker
I've tried various solutions, but so far nothing works. I've rebooted in safe mode, I've deleted recently installed apps and make more storage space available. When I try to take a picture, it freezes for a moment (which is normal) then near the bottom of the screen it says 'cannot save'. I've added a picture. I dont know what else to do. My phone is an LG K20 Plus. Can anybody please help me with this?

How odd. If you tap on that gear icon in your camera app, is there a setting to set the default storage? Is it set to save to your phone's internal storage or external card? (Assuming you have a microSD card installed in your K20.)
You might also want to go into your Settings >> Apps menu, find the camera app, and try doing a 'Clear cache'. If that doesn't make any difference, try doing 'Clear data. That will clear any of the camera app's settings, basically returning the camera app back to its original state (the same as the first time your started the camera app.)

I did what you said, and none of it worked until I set it to save the pictures in the internal storage rather than on the SD card. I guess I'm just running low on storage? But really, thank you!
