phone wont turn on

I don't know what's going on but I plugged my phone yesterday and woke up seeing my pho9ne was really hot....I then took the battery off for a while plugged it back in and not it won't turn on as if its dead...I have blue light blinking as if Its a notifications...but besides that nothing...I can't even see the bttert sign showing if the phone is chargin or not...what to do...keep chargin in or take the battery outfor longer?

The only thing you can try is to use a different charger and use a different battery. If neither of those things work, your phone is dead.

I've had two different Android phones do the same thing. One made by HTC and one made by Samsung. Both got real hot, stopped charging and wouldn't charge using a different charger or a different battery.

Any update on this? What did you end up having to do? My HTC Evo used to do this alot but after taking the battery out and letting the device and battery cool, it would charge and boot up just fine. But its been about a half hour here trying with my Epic 4g Touch after letting the battery cool for 10 minutes, and i can't tell if it's charging or what.

Edit: At first the led would blink blue, and between the led being on, the screen would blink a picture of a battery with a circle in the middle. Now nothing.

Edit: I just reseated my battery again and it appears to be charging fine, same battery same charger. Goodluck!

Edit: Okay, when I last edited I thought because the phone turned on things were fine, but at that point it said it was charging (1%) and here a half hour later it now says charging (0%)... Okay now the phone just turned itself off, but i do see the normal charging screen and red LED.

Edit: All good. Just needed to charge with the phone was off at that point.

I had a MetroPCS Samsung Galaxy Indulge do the same thing when I used a friends crap charger. It seemed to not be charging fast enough.
