Phone won't work unless charging.

My Galaxy S5 will not turn on all of the way unless it is charging. It will turn on half way then shut off, then turn on half way again and off continuously when not charging. I just bought a new battery and that didn't fix the issue. Any advice?

Have you tried other chargers? Maybe the charger that you are using is not giving the phone enough of a charge to stay on.

If that doesn't work try looking up a tear down video of the phone and make sure everything is installed correctly. Actually, don't do this yet. Leave that to a last resort. If it has a warranty on it talk to your carrier about it and see what they say.

Sounds like a new battery is in order, try that first. Phil

Had the same prob with my trusty GN4. Bought battery, beat button on edge of a surface, factory reset. Nothing worked. Had to get a new phone.
