My android phone shuts off by itself mainly when unpluged. But when plugged in it says 100 charged when unpluged beeps low battery. Also launger stops working at times
rechargeable batteries store less charge as they age (lithium ion batteries generally degrade faster under higher heat conditions and heavy discharges too). Like suggested above, it sure does sound like the battery. After a fresh charge the battery will report a high rate of charge but then dip pretty rapidly. All signs of an aged battery. Unfortunately they haven't made these chemical reactions infinitely reversible without degradation, so after several hundred charges over that time period you will notice battery life change.
