Droid is my first smartphone - so far I really like it.

I downloaded Phoneflix, but can't get it to work. When I enter my account info, nothing shows up in the password field when I type and it just goes back to blank fields when I hit the login button.

Also, when I go to "search" I can type all day, but I don't see a button to submit the search!

So, Phoneflix is useless to me right now. Am I missing something?
 
Yeah, I got concerned when I read that it was working on other Droids.

I should also say that I've reinstalled the app a couple times.

I don't see my password (or anything for that matter) when I enter it on the droid, but it does log you in. my guess would be you're incorrectly inputting user id or pass.

However, I do notice that as I browse for/through movies it has the "Add" button even if you have already added the movie to your Q (on the phone/web/xbox or otherwise), which makes the app less useful. But it is fine for seeing your Q and re-arranging if you want.

I installed is about an hour ago. If you go into Account, does it say you're currently logged in? If not, then you typed something wrong. Re-enter your creds.
It's working great for me.
 
^ Actually, that is a good point. Now that I think of it, I didn't see my password as I entered it the first time... it just showed up as clear. But it did accept it and when I clicked "ok" it logged me in. So I would agree.. maybe you just got your password wrong?
 
Thanks for the input. The blank text fields and other issues were throwing me off.

Once I read here that the field is supposed to be blank, I realized that I was using one of my usernames to login, not my email address (which is what it wanted).

With the introduction of the Droid X this week hdmi output is being introduced. Has there been any word that netflix will update their app so that instant play will be able to be streamed to the droid?
