Help Photos and videos gone??

Hi all, I went to see topgear live at the weekend and recorded a few videos in 4k.

After about the third one I got the error about phone heating up and would close the camera app if it got too hot. Anyways I continued to use it until it closed the app. After that it said my memory was getting full so would I like to transfer data to sd card. Since I had a 64gb in I chose yes and thought nothing else of phone.

When I got home I went to show the missus and nearly all my videos and pictures from February have gone missing.

Anyone know what would cause this?

Plug the phone in to a pc and browse the files, your phone will probably need to do a media scan.

It's probably the last ever top gear live so those pictures are important
