Photos: Favorites not recognized as album when uploading

Hello! I just switched from an iPhone to S7.

I have about 100 photos selected as favorites which I need to upload to facebook/ IG. However, these social media platforms are not recognizing photos in favorites as an album, but rather showing my raw photo gallery which has thousands of photos.

Is there a way to efficiently move all my carefully selected photos in favorites to a different album which Facebook or Instagram will recognize?

I did not have this issue with the iPhone, and I understand the is most likely an issue with the apps and not my phone.

As far as I know you can't. And yes it is an app issue. Facebook used to open the gallery app when you want to upload a photo. Somewhere down the line they removed it. I ran across one of the beta testers for Facebook app, and they mentioned that their feedback to this was negative, but the Facebook devs apparently ignored them.

The IG app still recognises your individual photo folders, but the FB app does not. You can get around the FB issue by not using the app and instead use something like Metal which is a web based FB layer/app, which will use your picture folders.
