photos from gallery being used as album art, anyone else having this issue?

I have a Motorola Droid Maxx. In my music player (rocket player) my album art is being taken from photos in gallery. The only remedy I've found is to use file manager to delete these photos then remove them from the gallery. Also had this occur with Winamp & Poweramp both. Should someone be able to remedy this please let me know. It's quite frustrating to have to move photos into a lock app!!!
In advance, thank you!!!

That sounds weird. Also sounds like it must be caused by the phone or an app on the phone other than your MP3 player, since it has happened across three players.

That said, since the problem stops if you delete or lock down the gallery, I am guessing that the images must not be embedded in the MP3 files themselves. In Rocket Player, go to "Settings" | "Album Art" and make sure that "Prefer ID3 artwork" is checked. That should tell Rocket Player to use the artwork that is embedded in the file (if any).

That's been known and on going since back then . its funny that it happens but the locking of the photos don't do the trick . if you good with a good working id3 hey work your hands with the art. I know Google music Dont do this .
