photos from my phone in wrong format?

I have a Samsung Galaxy 2. I know how to find the photos in the DCIM folder and I see that they are all jpg files. However when I copy them to my PC and try to open them with Photoshop or any other photo editing software it says it's in the wrong format. So far the only solution is to email the photos to myself but that seems crazy.

There must be a way, right??

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks. Sounds like a neat app but it won't help me get the files onto my PC in a useable format.

Also I noticed that someone said that the Samsung Galaxy version has bugs.

Still sounds interesting, but I'll wait for the bugs to be fixed.
