How do I transfer photos from my Samsung Galaxy s4 to my mac?
 
A USB cable will be simplest. Install Google's Android File Transfer on the Mac and you should be able to browse and copy using the Finder as with any external drive.

Alternatively, put the images on your sd card and use a microSD card reader.
