Help Photos in the Contacts app

I don't want to use photos of the people in my Contacts app. Is it possible to get rid of the icon/avatar/placeholder where the photo would go?

I am using exDialer and there is an option to not display the photos.

* ExDialer - Dialer & Contacts - One I use

I just verified it can be turned on/off as you wish.... and if OFF it does not loose the photos if you decide later to turn it back on.
