Photos, not albums

Why will some photos go into albums while others will not, even if I try to add them one at a time?

What app are you using? Where are the phots now and how are you adding them to the album

Are some of your photos saved to your SD card, and others to internal? Also are you using a third party app?

No, it's just the regular google photos included with the phone, which is a ZTE Fanfare 2 with only 8 gb. The photos are all saved to SD, which is 32 gb.

It might be because the photos are saved to the SD card. Try going to your file manager and add them to the folder that way.
