There would be nowhere near enough space on your SIM Card for even one pic/video. Do you mean SD Card?

You can download a program from the Google Play store called "Picfolio". With Pic folio it enables you to sign into your Google account and check all of the photos you have synced to Picasa, which happens automatically if you have chosen to sync your photos online.
If they are synced there, there are options in the Picfolio program settings to "save locally", and "download location" which allows you to choose your external SD Card as the download location.
You can long press on any one of your picture albums in Picfolio and choose "save locally" to download them
