Help pics etc appearing on wife's ipad

Hi. I have a note 4 and recently sent some pictures to one of my friends of a party I went to before I was with her. I used what'sapp to send them. They appeared on her ipad and she has also gotten text messages that I have sent. Can I stop this? Don't have a clue what's happening. Big thanks

Are you both signed into the same cloud backup account? Whatsapp automatically backs up any pictures that are sent thru it to the phone.

It does. Cloud backup can be done through a variety of apps. Do you have any backup or storage apps on your phone? Google Plus does an automatic backup and even Facebook does.

Just found cloud . It was on auto back up. She has iPhone and an ipad and I have an android and really didn't think they would communicate like that. We use the same WiFi The pics were sent through WhatsApp. Not sure if she's seen the typed messages but I know she's seen the pics

Turn off auto back up. That should do the trick
