Pics on multiple devices

How do you expect pics or notes to be on other devices without manually placing them...
If your anti cloud ( there's many secure private ones) ...
Hm..any app is going to be using it's own cloud unless you set let's say a home pc as your main hub and have each device sync or view through it. A VPN would work. More specifics as to what you need to do and why your "Not using cloud" will make it easier to help. Lastly "best" is just opinions based on personal need.
 
No reason for not using any cloud... jus haven't tried one yet...... example was using tablet.. and wanted to save screenshot taken on phone and save to tablet sdcard w/o having to take card out and go back n forth switching.... also wanted to view notes using tablet that were saved on phone.. w/o having to physically use phone..
 
Hm, I mean there are many method just unsure what you want or don't want to try.
If this is new to you id suggest diving head first and trying google drive or Microsoft one drive. Both can auto sync pics and notes...very secure. Without involving a server/cloud , doesn't really work.
Ah my adhd strikes again , shifting from pc to thinking about the tablet and phone..if both have same google account or same app/one drive account installed it will be as simple as opening the app. Also two devices can transfer via nfc,Bluetooth,wifi direct, etc.
I use Samsung phones and tablets, my notes are synced via the same Samsung account..
I mean the discussion can be endless , choices are abundant. If you are unsure of how precisely to do such just ask or send msg.
 
Google Photos is a good cloud based option otherwise you'd need to transfer them to a computer and them copy them to the second device. You *might* be able to use something like Microsoft SyncToy to manage them if you use a pc.
You could sync them one way onto your pc from device one and sync them back off your pc to device two.
 
So there's no way to download same app on each device under the same account and b able to see everything on both devices ? Without using a cloud ..

If you want something to do this for you automatically... you're going to have to trust it to do it for you...

otherwise, if you trust no-one, you'll have to do it yourself
 
Meant if u uploaded the files to the app on one device... and log on the other device .... can u see the files on the second device.
 
But if you upload to the app on one device.... by definition you are using some sort of cloud based storage.


(and in the case of google photos.. yes, you can see them on the second device)
 
K. Thx.. im kinda old school.... so wasn't exactly sure how all that worked. Thought if I had same app on both devices and uploaded. . That was good enough.
 
try out dropbox. once uploaded you can view it on your phones or your computer without having your pictures "all over google"

just install the app on each device and login, whatever is uploaded - is accessible.

you have to initiate the sync, for anythign to be available anywhere else - otherwise where would the security be in that?

no need for the clunky binder full of polaroids that you show to your friends, as long as you have your images auto uploading to dropbox after theyre taken, you can forget your phone at home and login to dropbox elsewhere, on your friends device, at the library - this is what a cloud is for. use it. you'll like it.

Is there a way to select which photos u want uploaded to Dropbox..... What if u dont want all of them uploaded.
 
You all have more patience than me. Kind tip to OP, don't venture to another forum with a three letter name for a few years....also good luck ask anytime.
