Help Picture Location AND Created Folder (can't remove).

Hi!

1st - I take a picture (shows up in my Gallery) and when I try to send it (as attachment) via Yahoo Mail - I can't find it! Normally, it would be stored in my DCIM folder
1. Browse Folders - it takes me to "/storage/emulated/0/
2. I go to DCIM/ then 100ANDRO/ - and get "no files."

Any suggestions?

2nd - I was messing around and created a folder (didn't name it). How do I delete it?

Thanks everyone for your help. I have never had a problem like this with all my past Droids but this Samsung is a real challenge for me! :)

Open up your File Manager app and cruise through the storage area under DCIM.
You can delete the folder you don't want with that.
Failing that, connect to your PC via USB and let the file manager there delete it for you.

On my phone, I have pictures in 2 folders.

The host DCIM folder, and DCIM/Camera
The folder named: DCIM/100Andro does NOT have anything in it at all.

I have 3 different camera apps, some of them will allow you to define the storage folder. maybe you have done that and forgot?

Thanks AZgl1500. You got me thinking - when I go into Yahoo Mail and select attach - it takes me to a default directory (called emulation) that actually has DCIM and only one sub directory. I backed all the way down to nothing and selected extSdCard that "DCIM" has three sub directories including one called Camera which contains my pictures. Your suggestion triggered that - so, thanks!

Now, if I could just figure out how to get rid of the folder I created.

Navigate to the folder that you made, then long press on it for a second or two, options should appear, you should see delete in the options... If the delete does not show up in those options try a different file explorer
