pictures and tec files

HI all,
Hoping someone can help me- have the Galaxy s2 epic touch. It was working fine, took pictures, saved them to my portable hard drive. A week later I go back to connect to pc and look at pictures, they all now have a .tec file extension. I can see the pics on the phone though. Tech support no help so far, suggest I reset my phone, aka start all over. Yuck Anybody know how to be able to open these files so I can see my pics on my pc again?

I have the same problem - all my pics taken dissapears
and now in "camera" there is a carpet "cache" with a lot of .tec files

Is it possible to recover the jpg files ?

Did you solve it ? I have the same problem
Have just .tec files and loose all the .jpg files
