Root pictures missing after ICS update

Hi new to this form I just did the ICS update for my lg viper 4g lte and all but 3 pictures are missing how can I get the pictures back. The files I see in the dir where the 3 good pictures are, are named 1.p 2.p 3.p when I try to open it says it cannot.

Hi and welcome to the forums, I'd like to help you with this issue but I may need some more information, prior to updating to ICS, were you using ONLY the stock camera app, or 3rd party apps as well? Also...if you transfer the files to your PC/MAC, are you able to view them?
