Help Pictures not downloading with text messages

So far we have not been able to get pictures attached to text messages to show up with the message. All we see is a box with a red triangle with a white exclamation point in it. I assume that means there was an error. So far we have not been able to see any pictures attached to text messages with the S5. We are using the default text messaging app.

As far as I can tell Mobile Data is turned on. I can access the internet and download stuff over 4G and WiFi and when I go to Data Usage the Mobile Data checkbox is checked.

I have been having an issue lately when sending pics to an iphone user i know. I can't download what is sent to me, and my S5 Sport won't send them to the IPhone. ... i had it the other day, and then it started working. Now i am having the same issue again today.
