PINK BAR inside INBOX: Exchange

I've succesfully sync'd my emails to the droid through our Exchange (work email).
Why is it that once i'm inside my inbox (where all the emails are showing) the LEFT SIDE BAR is PINK?
Can that be change? How?

Sucks that when i'm checking my emails and people look over and see PINK! Looks like i stole my little sisters phone!

Thats just to show what messages are unread

It shows pink on all emails, read or unread emails. If an email is unread it'll be in a dark shadow state, but read emails are more dimmed in color, but still dark. But it'll always have that PINK bar in the left side.

anybody else have that?

Interesting. My exchange inbox has the same bar on the side but it's blue.

I'm also wondering if there is any way to change the colors or theme used in the email displays? I would like to have a larger difference between read and unread mail instead of that dark gray - light gray scheme.

Since you can have multiple email addresses all consolidated, I believe the color represents which one it comes from.

I don't know if you can change it or if it just assigns one. If you remove the account and re-add it, I believe you'll likely get a different color.
